Pool Rules

  1. Use of the pool is for Timber’s Edge Homes Association residents only.

  2. All annual assessments and dues must be paid in full prior to use of the pool.

  3. Children under the age of 14 MUST always be supervised by an adult age 18 or older. Any unaccompanied children under age 14 will be asked to leave to the pool.

  4. Each resident may bring a maximum of two (2) guests at a time. Each household may bring a maximum of four (4) guests at a time. Example: a single resident may bring up to two (2) guests. A resident couple may bring up to four (4) guests. A resident family of 6 may bring up to four (4) guests.

  5. Minor residents, age 14-17, not accompanied by an adult, may have a maximum of two (2) guests.

  6. Guests must always be accompanied by a resident while at the pool. Any guest not accompanied by a Timber’s Edge resident will be asked to leave the pool.

  7. Pool keys are to be used by Timber’s Edge residents only. Keys are not be given, or loaned, to any non-residents. Do not leave your pool key out and/or unattended.

  8. NO LIFEGUARD IS ON DUTY. All swimmers swim at their own risk.
    DO NOT swim alone.

  9. NO DIVING in the pool is allowed at any time.

  10. No chalk, balloons or high-pressure water guns are allowed inside the gated area.

  11. Anyone with a cold, cough, infection, or open wound, is not allowed in the pool or pool area.

  12. Infants and children not toilet trained, must wear swim diapers in the pool at all times.
    NO EXCEPTIONS.

    1. If a child who is not toilet trained and not wearing a swim diaper has an accident in the pool, the resident, or resident of the guest, will be assessed a fine of $250.00 for violation of the rules and billed for the cost of correction by the pool service company.

  13. Food and beverages may be brought from home; however, all trash must be placed in the trash and recycling containers provided.

  14. Food is not allowed in the pool at any time.

  15. NO GLASS containers of any kind are permitted in or around the pool area. Violators will be asked to leave immediately.

  16. Any intoxicated individual will be asked to leave the pool area immediately.

  17. No scooters, skateboards, rollerblades, bikes, or any other pedestrian conveyances are allowed inside the gated pool deck area. There is a location outside for parking bikes, etc.

  18. Do not play on the pool ladders or with safety equipment. Ladders are to be used for entry and exit of the pool only.

  19. No vulgar, foul, or abusive language, profanity, or improper behavior is permitted. These behaviors are not tolerated and will result in being asked to leave the pool immediately.

  20. No pets or animals are permitted within the pool and gated pool area. This does not apply to “service dogs” as defined by K.S.A. 39-1108.

  21. No smoking is permitted in the pool or the gated pool area.

  22. Access to the pool house/storage room is limited to Timber’s Edge Homes Association Board Members and those authorized by the Timber’s Edge Homes Association Board only.

  23. Private parties exceeding the allowed guest limit and private rentals are not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to, birthdays, sports teams, club, or special organization parties.

  24. Commercial use of the pool, including, but not limited to, swim lessons, coaching, therapy, fitness classes, or other services, regardless of whether or not the person is receiving compensation, is prohibited.

  25. Please return all tables and chairs to their appropriate locations as well as lower and secure any umbrellas on the pool deck when leaving the pool area.

  26. No furniture or equipment may be removed from the pool area or inappropriately used.

  27. Anyone entering the pool or pool area outside of the pool hours of operation is trespassing and will be subject to enforcement by law.

  28. If a biohazard is found in the pool, the pool must be shut down for treatment by a professional pool service. Contact the pool officer or any board member immediately to report a problem.

  29. If, by direct violation of the pool rules, the actions of a resident(s) and/or their guest(s) cause the closure of the pool, they will be assessed a fine of $250 and billed for any additional costs incurred by Timber’s Edge Homes Association from the cause of closure.

  30. If a resident, child, and/or guest is not complying with the Timber’s Edge Homes Association Pool Rules, any person is empowered and should act at the time of the incident. A resident or guest may be asked to leave the pool if they are not following the stated rules. It is up to everyone in the neighborhood to keep our pool safe. If you witness criminal activity, call 911 or the non-emergency police immediately.

  31. The pool, surrounding pool area and parking lot are to be used only by residents and their guests when using the pool and only during posted hours of operation. Parking spots are limited and are reserved for residents using the pool. When the pool is closed, the areas, including the parking lot are also closed. No unauthorized overnight parking is allowed. Violators are subject to immediate removal & towing.

  32. If a resident has not complied with the Timber’s Edge Homes Association Pool Rules, they will receive an initial written warning. If the inappropriate behavior is not corrected or flagrant rule violations continue, the Timber’s Edge Homes Association has the legal authority to remove the person(s) from the pool and prohibit the person(s) from using the pool in the future.

  33. The Timber’s Edge Homes Association Board of Directors reserves the right to terminate pool access for misuse of the pool and surrounding areas, vandalism, after-hours entry, or outstanding homeowner dues.
